Principal's Corner - 9.28.23
It's hard to believe we're almost into October already, which means we're finishing up our fifth week of school. The students are doing a great job of working with their teachers to build a positive community in their classrooms, and the teachers are doing a great job of making our students feel safe and welcome, while setting high expectations for behavior and academic performance.
Please be sure to have your students here by 8:25, with the morning systems we have in place it's challenging for them, and for the class, when they are late. We know things come up from time to time, but please strive for 8:25. If students come in after that time make sure they check in with Laurie in the office. If they are coming in later than 9:00, please call the office with their plans for lunch so we can have a fresh, hot lunch for them if needed. We also appreciate everyone who has turned their paperwork in on time.
We had our first Community Lunch this week, and it was a big hit. We had eighteen visitors Wednesday, who enjoyed Miss Kelly's spaghetti and meatballs, and the company of our students. We had both Rowe residents and Rowe School family members, and we're looking forward to doing it again on Wednesday, October 25th. Join us if you can!
I read a short but interesting piece about parental controls for your child’s phone, and I wanted to pass it on. Here's a link, I hope you find it useful: https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u...
